Trust

A child who lost his capability to completely trust is a broken child.

Trust and Honesty

Honesty is the essential ingredient of trust. Anyone who cannot be honest with you, you simply cannot trust, unless the bare truth can hurt your feelings, and she knows that, and simply wants to look for the right time to say it. Withholding the truth is telling a lie.

Movements

Despite the grace given us, we still have to brace our minds for the unexpected movements of God that can defy human explanation. Oftentimes, in order to make sense of it, we simply trust on His love and His will, and let go trying to understand the 'why.' Our thoughts are never His thoughts; our ways never His ways.

Trust

Our difficulty in completely trusting God, and following His Will, stems from our own human brokenness. The wounds of our existence have hardened our hearts and the full trust of a child have long left our lives. And only God can make us whole again, slowly, bit by bit, each day, each moment. Our only job is to cooperate.

Hope

Those who have trust have hope. Only the faithless are incurably hopeless.

Expectations

Foolish and unreasonable expectations do more damage than good to both the person expecting and to the one expected as well as the relationship between both. If you have full trust on someone, you don't need to expect. Simply trust and let the trusted be.

Forgiveness

True forgiveness cleans the slate of the forgiven. If you have not fully restored your trust to the person you believed you "forgave" you have not really forgiven.
