Temptations

Most temptations are self-serving. The only effective way to combat it is to forget the self and focus on God and on following His will.

Trust

Our difficulty in completely trusting God, and following His Will, stems from our own human brokenness. The wounds of our existence have hardened our hearts and the full trust of a child have long left our lives. And only God can make us whole again, slowly, bit by bit, each day, each moment. Our only job is to cooperate.

Prayer

Without prayer, life can only be about following your will instead of following God's will.

God's Will and Fear

The most difficult part in following God's will is the fear that after following Him so He will let go; even if you know that He won't. .

God's Will

If God gives, accept. If He takes, let go. No fuss. No rolling on the floor crying and kicking. There is nothing in this world worth more than following His Will.

Prayer

The greatest and most powerful prayer there is, is this: "Be it unto me according to your word. Lord, thy will be done. Amen."

Humility

Humility is knowing very well what we can and cannot do, without closing the possibility that with God's specific graces something more can be achieved. But all these shall be according to His Holy Will.
