Free Will

Even among those who said, "It is not my fault; the devil made me do," there is no excuse. Each person has freedom of will, to say "Yes" or "No!" to the Tempter. No action can be made without that ultimate choice to go for a sin or crime or not. Whatever he does, a person is culpable for everything he does, whether or not a struggle to exercise his will precedes the action or not.

Freedom and Bondage

Most people believe that once people gain their freedom from oppressors, they became free. History shows that's not necessarily true. Our oppressors are not outside us but within us--pride, fear, covetousness... These sinful vices keep people in bondage using chains that no amount of uprising can break.

Freedom and Democracy

Freedom, democracy... these are only beginnings of an arduous work that spells L-I-F-E-T-I-M-E.

Freedom and Youth

Too much freedom among the youth today is a very dangerous thing, even to those with good dispositions. To the conceited and foolish ones, it is a disaster waiting to happen.

Freedom and Choice

Freedom is dangerous. It gives us the option to choose evil, and to do evil things. Unfortunately, it is only through freedom that we can truly choose goodness and do good things according to our heart's content.

Faith

There are things in life that we have to take on faith. And once we have made that scary leap, we will discover a new sense of freedom that will not be rattled by death.

Freedom

True freedom is not only about being able to choose to perform good acts, but also about being so in doing the bad. A good person however willfully chooses to do the difficult but good things to do, and take responsibility of his bad actions. The evil person simply chooses otherwise. It is not about finding faults in others any way you can. It is about being free to choose the full exercise of one's talents to find effective solutions.
