Complete Dependence on God

To be a Christian, particularly a Catholic, is permanently needing to kneel in the icon of Christ, He who is the center of his or her life instead of himself or herself through whatever spiritual experience that may be. It is complete dependence on God, His will, and His providence.

Followership

A person can only become a true leader after he has become first a true follower. Those who hold leadership roles skipping this path of character growth would later on become the "leaders" most people despise for graft and corruption, and various crimes of action and ethics, that only bring more evil to this world instead of the good.

Intelligence

Many times our intelligence turns into a wall of self-rightousness that separates us from Christ. Having erected the wall ourselves, we cease to notice that we have drifted away from the very source of that intelligence. With our sight obstructed we will not even notice that what used to be a wonderful gift of the mind had become the booze of the fool.
