Knowing God

The reason why it can be very difficult to know God personally is our own reluctance, in fact even resistance, to know ourselves honestly for who we frankly are.

Trust and Honesty

Honesty is the essential ingredient of trust. Anyone who cannot be honest with you, you simply cannot trust, unless the bare truth can hurt your feelings, and she knows that, and simply wants to look for the right time to say it. Withholding the truth is telling a lie.

Children

Many times you don't have to worry seeking for things to teach children, especially around ages five to eight. They simply ask a lot of questions about things they encounter each day. The only challenge to adults is to listen to them earnestly, not brush them away irritably or play listen without hearing, and answer them with all honesty as far as you know about the answers.

Honesty and Responsibility

The burden of honesty and responsibility is extremely heavy, especially to those who followed the opposite path. At times, even death pales in comparison. But those who braved the pain follow the right path shines forth as people of great courage. (Photo courtesy of Jim Sabo Fine Arts )
