Many times the system that supposed to get to the truth of things and to administer justice withholds instead the truth and in so doing fails to bring justice where and when it should.
Encountering oppositions and criticisms can mean that we have at last taken a stand worthy of our gifts. But what we need to be careful about in facing the strong winds in our lives is the temptation to forget that we stood strong and tall against the elements not on our own strength but through the grace of God that works in us. Forgetting this truth will make the triumph against the wind as meaningless as our fall before it. For either way does not make us closer to the God who loves us endlessly.
When love becomes a temptation, responding to that love becomes a sin. Love becomes a fleeting romantic emotion, desperately hoping to last long. And the culprit is a perverted perception that leads to an erroneous understanding of love .
Music can be a prayer that rises from the heart filled with love, and joins with that Everlasting Love, the very Source of such a human love that leaps from the heart like a small child filled with the joy of seeing her beloved Father for the first time in her life.
A heart that loves purely, when corrupted by selfishness and perversion, will find it difficult, even almost impossible, to recapture that pure love. The heart needs to go through that moment of letting go, the pain of fiery grace, a conversion of soul, before it can be restored to that state where it is ready to love purely again.
It is not the hounding pressure that causes an inflexible thing to break. It is the inflexibility that does it. Flexible things simple bend against the wind, and survive the storm.
Our lives mean something of value only when we stand for the truth. If others would refuse, and even bend over back to withhold, the truth, just enjoy the better part of the difference that you have with you.
